H.E. Dr. Sidi Ould Tah, Ph.D., is the President of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), a major ‘AAA’ Multilateral Development Bank at the service of the Arab-African solidarity. Under his transformational leadership, since his appointment in 2015, the Bank established itself as a key long-term development partner in Africa with a special focus on social impact, sustainability, private sector and trade finance. “Development Banker of the Year” (2022), his pragmatic game-changing development approach led the Bank to receiving strong credit ratings from top rating agencies, signaling its outstanding financial solidity and shareholders’ support.
