Chairman, Turkey Payment and Electronic Money Institutions Association (TÖDEB)
Ufuk Bilgetekin has been advancing his career in the finance sector for over 25 years and has played a pivotal role in shaping the payment and electronic money landscape in Turkey. Since 2008, he has served as the Chairman of the Board at Vizyon Electronic Money and Payment Services Inc., a company he founded to enhance payment systems within country.
In addition to his business ventures, Bilgetekin was instrumental in the establishment of the Payment and Electronic Money Association of Turkey (TÖDEB), where he has served various roles including Board Member and General Secretary. His role has been crucial in addressing the long-standing needs of the sector, bringing together mobile operators, payment service providers, and international money transfer companies to foster collaboration and innovation.
In 2011, Bilgetekin also took on the role of President at TÜMBİAD (All Bureaucrats and Business People Association ), where he has been active in spearheading various social, cultural, and economic projects that have reached across global communities, demonstrating his commitment to societal development alongside his professional endeavors.
Currently, as the Chairman of TÖDEB, Bilgetekin continues to drive significant initiatives, positioning the association and its members at the forefront of the global fintech landscape. His vision extends beyond traditional business metrics to encompass a transformative impact on the fintech ecosystem in Turkey and beyond.
Ufuk Bilgetekin is married and a father to three daughters. His personal and professional life is dedicated to advancing technology and innovation in the financial sector, ensuring Turkey's competitive edge in the global market.
